Гістарычны музей у Ільянскай сярэдняй школе Вілейскага раёна быў адкрыты загадам дырэктара школы №21 ад 20.05.1995 года.
13.12.2010 года рашэннем калегіі Міністэрства культуры Рэспублікі Беларусь №149 музею прысвоена званне “народны”.
Экспазіцыі музея размешчаны ў асобным памяшканні плошчай 60м2 і ў дадатковым памяшканні плошчай 25м2, інфармацыйны краязнаўча-метадычны цэнтр размешчан у памяшканні плошчай 60м2.
Пералік найбольш каштоўных экспанатаў: набор гузікаў вайскоўцаў арміі Напалеона, каменныя сякеры, крэмневы скрабок, кавалкі крычнага жалеза, элемент кальчугі, пушачнае ядро 1812 года, патэфон трафейны, рэлігійнае выданне, дакументы на зямлю, салдацкі кацялок 1914 года, мухалоўкі шкляныя, арган, куфар 19 стагоддзя, калаўрот-ляжак (самапрадка), кросны (ручны ткацкі станок), копія пасведчання аб смерці М.К. Агінскага.
Паляпшаюцца умовы экспаніравання музейных прадметаў, створаны новыя вітрыны, напісаны анатацыі. Пачаўся выпуск музейнага бюлетэня для навучэнцаў, настаўнікаў і бацькоў з інфармацыяй аб паступіўшых музейных прадметах, апісанне асобных экспанатаў, аб экскурсаводах, лепшых краязнаўцах школы, зместы краязнаўчых тэстаў і інш. Да святкавання 150-годдзя школы праведзена аднаўленне і папаўненне музейных вітрын.

5. “Рамёствы, мастацтва і быт”.
6. “Гісторыя Ільянскай школы”.
Акрамя музейнай экспазіцыі, створаны інфармацыйны краязнаўча-метадычны цэнтр, працуе школьнае выдавецтва і прэс-цэнтр. Тут ажыццяўляецца збор літаратуры, дакументаў, альбомаў, даследчых прац, краязнаўчых праектаў, аудыё- і відэаматэрыялаў. Для працы ўстаноўлены камп’ютар, іншая тэхніка для агучвання і прагляду сабранай інфармацыі для настаўнікаў, вучняў, бацькоў і ўсіх жадаючых. Матэрыялы ўлічаны, захоўваюцца ў шафах. У цэнтры праводзяцца тэматычныя выставы малюнкаў, фотаздымкаў, творчых прац вучняў і настаўнікаў, метадычных матэрыялаў. Музей і інфармацыйны цэнтр наведваюць настаўнікі і вучні, іх бацькі, навучэнцы Ільянскага аграрнага каледжа.

Ilya Horizons, the local historical museum in Ilya high school, located in Vileyka district, was opened by order of the Principal of the school, in May 20, 1995.
On December 13, 2010, the board of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus has nominated Ilya Horizons as a folk museum. The exposition of the museum is spread in two major areas of 60 sqm and of 25sqm.
Local history and detailed information are displayed in the bigger area.
The curator of the museum is constantly adding valuable and interesting items to its collections. Since 2009 and until 2017, an amount of almost 3,500 items have been collected.
Amongst the most valuable pieces, one can find a set of buttons from soldiers' uniforms dated from Napoleon's army, stone axes, flint scrapers, pieces of bloomery (iron pieces, which were created from swamp ore during Iron age, between the 6th and 7th century B.C.) iron, ancient piece from an armor, dated between the 15th and 16th century, cannonball dated 1812, gramophone trophy from 1930, a religious publication from the 19th century, official documents of property ownership dated between 1930-1940, soldier's bowl, dated 1914, glass fly-catchers, organ, from the years 1960-1970, chest, dated from the 19th century, spinning-wheel, a copy of the death certificate of M.K. Oginsky, who was a Polish diplomat and politician, Grand Treasurer of Lithuania, and a senator of Tsar Alexander I. He was also a composer of early Romantic music. Mr. Oginsky owned a manor in Ilya built in the 18th century, and much more.

The museum is constantly improving the display cabinets. New showcases were created and more information was added.
On the 150th anniversary of the school, the restoration of the showcases was accomplished.
Ilya Horizons is not just a museum and a collection of items.
It has also become a research and study center for local history information, school work and publishing press center.
The literature, documents, albums, research reports, local history projects, audio and video sources are all collected here.
Teachers, students, parents and the public can view the collected information using the available computers inside the museum.
All materials are accounted and stored in closets.
Themed exhibitions of drawings, photographs, creative works of students and teachers, teaching materials and so on, are also available in the center. The museum and the information center are visited by teachers, students, parents and students from Ilya Agricultural College, visitors from Belarusian towns, Russia, Poland, Israel and more.
Recently, a newsletter was created for teachers and parents from the area.
Number of visitors is slowly increasing and has reached over 3,200 in 2017. Every year, new exhibitions are being opened and new projects and activities are initiated.
Funds are limited and supported by various donations.
The museum plans to collect more items and increase its activities every year, along with improving its visual displays. Its vision is to bring more visitors to experience the history of Ilya in a sophisticated and enriching way.

This section of the museum shares a lot of information about the Great Patriotic War, as well as other wars and military conflicts in this section. The showcases include remains of weapons and ammunition, personal belongings and equipment, photographs and documents, soldiers' letters, awards, memories written by veterans, witnesses of the war, research papers from teachers and pupils, books and other items. The exhibition reveals facts about the occupation, the Holocaust, the guerrilla movement, underground fighting, the liberation and the veterans. The exhibition shows authentic artifacts from the war of 1812, the uprising of 1861-1863 years, the First World War dated 1914-1918, and other various military conflicts which took place in Ilya region.

This section of the museum presents the items and information about Ilya and surroundings from ancient times.
Amongst the objects presented, one can find stone axes, flint working tools and more.
The items clearly show blacksmiths centers near the village of Byazvodnaye and Karytnica, and remaining of a glass factory in Ilya.
Toponymic materials and legends, photos, documents, maps, books, old money, items of emblems, local architecture, trade activity, religious literature from the 18th to the 20th century) are also part of this section.

The exhibition reflects the period when Ilya region was part of Poland corresponding to Riga contract from March 1921 to September 17, 1939. This part exhibits materials about the soldiers of the Polish Army, about manors, country seats and their hosts, the economic activities of the population, specialties of household and distinctive cultural features, features of interaction between representatives of different nationalities and religions. Documents, publications on Polish language are represented here.

This part of the exhibition focuses on the revolution of 1917 - the joining of Western Belorussia to the Soviet Union.
This period tells the story of the establishment of collective farms and the repressions. Post-war period is also represented here, and gives the visitor a broader look about the activity of the Soviet state, Communist party and Komsomol, about people and events that occurred during this period and became part of our history.

This section of the museum displays fascinating tools and devices, handicrafts and art products of craftsmen and information about artists of our area from the 19th and the 20th century.
The showcases display objects which show the technology which was used at that period for flax - turning a plant into threads, weaving, food processing, ploughing land and a lot more.
The visitor can see unique models of typical houses, windmills and homestead also from the same period.

The showcases present school supplies, personal items of students, textbooks from different years of publication, photographs of the school life and more.
Speeches about the teachers and graduates of the school, show their pride of this institute.
The school is named after its honored teacher, and worldwide known scientist and educator, Mr. Grymats Adam Antonavich.
